and amends them where amendment is considered necessary.

6.

Ordinance No.1 of 1903 and its amending Ordinances will

be repealed by section 18 of Ordinance No.7 of 1935 when that Ordinance is brought into force by Proclamation under section 17 thereof. It is intended to bring this Ordinance into force, under section 173, simultaneously with the remainder of the series of Ordinances which have been or are being passed to give effect to the recommendations of the Director of Medical

and Sanitary Services.

A General Index and Table of Correspondence are attached. The references in the latter to the Sanitation Bill now have reference to the Public Health (Sanitation) Ordinance No.15 of 1935 which was passed on the 22nd March and belongs to the

same series.

In my opinion this is an Ordinance to which His Excellency the Governor may properly assent in the name of His Majesty

and on His behalf.
